What are the symptoms of bundle branch block?

A bundle branch block may not cause any symptoms. When this condition does cause symptoms, they may include:

  • Dizziness.
  • Fainting (syncope).
  • Feeling like you’ll faint (presyncope).

Bundle branch blockages on both sides may cause symptoms including:

  • Abnormal heartbeat (arrhythmia).
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea).
  • Slow heart rate (bradycardia).

You’re more likely to feel symptoms if you have:

  • An underlying heart condition.
  • Both right and left bundle branch block.
  • Severe bundle branch block.
