AML causes these symptoms in adults and children:

  • Dizziness.
  • Easy bruising or bleeding, including frequent nosebleeds and bleeding gums.
  • Fatigue.
  • Feeling cold.
  • Fever, night sweats or frequent infections.
  • Headaches.
  • Loss of appetite and unexplained weight loss.
  • Pale skin and anemia (low red blood cells).
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea).
  • Swollen lymph nodes.
