Cerebral palsy often occurs with a range of other conditions and disorders. Children and adults with CP may also have:
- Bladder and bowel control problems.
- Chronic (long-term) pain.
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders.
- Gastrointestinal (GI) issues, digestive problems and chronic gastroesophageal acid reflux (GERD).
- Intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and behavioral issues.
- Spinal abnormalities and scoliosis.
- Vision or hearing problems.
