Cerebral palsy often occurs with a range of other conditions and disorders. Children and adults with CP may also have:

  • Bladder and bowel control problems.
  • Chronic (long-term) pain.
  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders.
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) issues, digestive problems and chronic gastroesophageal acid reflux (GERD).
  • Intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and behavioral issues.
  • Spinal abnormalities and scoliosis.
  • Vision or hearing problems.
