What are the symptoms of perianal abscess?
The presence of a hot, reddish inflammatory-looking tumor at the margin of the anus is practically diagnostic of this pathology.
The most common symptoms of perianal abscess are:
- Fever
- Shaking chills
- dull pain
- purulent material
In the acute phase, that is, in the formation of the abscess, the presence of a pain usually of dull and continuous characteristics in the perianal area, accompanied by fever, chills, is typical, especially in the most advanced phase.
When the abscess has evolved , a more or less symptomatic acute phase and gives rise to the formation of a fistula , the presence of a hole in the anal margin through which purulent material emerges is typical.
