Of particular concern to physicians are liners that “plug” the auricle, like earplugs. The earbuds create a certain pressure, to which the human ear simply does not have time to adapt. There is no air gap, so the high sound level has a direct damaging effect on the hearing organs.
It's one thing to listen to loud music for a couple of minutes, and another thing is to listen to your favorite songs for hours. In the human ear, nature provides protection only from short-term loud sounds, while long-term exposure inevitably leads to tragic consequences even at a very young age.
