Everyone knows how useful a fruit is, like a lemon. But not everyone knows how to get the maximum benefit from it. And it’s very simple.
It is enough to thoroughly rinse the lemon, place it in the freezer for several hours and then grate it together with zest and pits. Lemon peel, which is usually thrown away, contains five times more vitamins than lemon juice!

Of course, some of the useful vitamins are lost during freezing, but what remains is enough for our body. With any method of freezing, about 90% of vitamins remain in the fruit.

How to properly wash the lemon before freezing it
Method number 1
- First, boil water. Put the lemons in a colander and field them with hot water. Then collect a bowl of cold water and put lemons there.
- Take one at a time and brush them with a special brush for fruits and vegetables. If there is none, then you can make it a clean, unnecessary toothbrush. Thoroughly rub the lemons with a paper towel and dry them for several hours.
Method No. 2
- Pour water and apple cider vinegar into a bottle-sprayer in a 3: 1 ratio. Close the bottle and shake well. Spray the solution into lemons and leave for 5 minutes.
- Clean lemons with a brush under cool running water. Then rinse well and dry them.
Do not put lemons in the freezer, if they have not dried to the end. For frost, wrap the fruit with food film. Excess moisture can turn into ice, which will negatively affect the taste of the product.
