Right-click the Windows Start icon.
From the context menu, select Open Windows Explorer.
On the navigation bar, click Computer to make the drives appear in the right pane.
Right click on the drive you want to check.
Click "Properties".
Go to the "Tools" tab.
Click the Check Now button.
